Kevin Chigos-White is a native of Rye, New York who currently resides in Hampton, VA. Kevin showed an interest in all things creative, from visual to performance arts, from a very early age.
Kevin spent several years focusing on technical theater and scenic design. He created elaborate backdrops for such classics as Enchanted April and Chicago at Christopher Newport University, Newport News, VA. Yet, his desire for a more intimate relationship with art led him to glass.
Kevin has performed and assisted in demonstrations at Franklin Southhampton County Fair, Sunspots Glass Studios' 2017 Hot Glass Festival, and The 2017 Glass Art Society Conference. His glass has been displayed at the Slover Library in Norfolk in addition to several showings at the Tidewater Community College Visual Arts Center where he is currently serving as Vice President for The Art League.
